We made a planned stop during our New York/Canada Day Trip at Bragg Maple Farm. They have an extensive gift shop but also allow visitors to watch a video that explains how maple sap is harvested and later changed into maple syrup. It was very educational on top of being held in their actual maple syrup manufacturing room.
