I've always been a "baby magnet" so expect to ALWAYS see lots of pictures of my grandkids during their baby stage. This is Connor at 2-1/2 months old. He smiles so easily, and it's infectious. Feel lucky that I deleted about 1/2 the amount of "Connor smiling" pictures from what I'd taken.

Dad fell asleep holding his son while the rest of us were primarily in the kitchen, getting a meal put together. It was one of those "Kodak" moments for me.

Big sister, Gracie, who's 7 years old, gets to interact with her baby brother with Mommy close by to step in if needed.

Connor at 3 months on an afternoon that we watched the four grandkids. The outfit Connor is in was picked out by Gracie, and was his baby gift from Gracie's Dad/Step-Mom.

He really likes standing, and for the most part, just balancing him vertically is all that's needed most of the time.

After the grandkid's naps, we headed to Murphy Park to let them get in some play time for a short while before Mommy got off work and took them back over. Ryan is our 5-year-old grandson.

Our granddaughter's second grade class put on a musical presentation. My camera batteries died after taking just one photo {:-( , but I also have their performance on camcorder. She is in the front row, left end in this picture (wearing a white top).

Our son, Alex came home one weekend to show us his (new-to-him) truck. This was him about to leave and head back to where he lives in San Angelo, TX.

This is our other son's dog, Rebel. Alex and his friend (Key) decided to take both dogs in to town for a walk in the park, Sonic ice cream treat afterwards and then back home before they headed to San Angelo.

Uncle Chris came for a visit later that same day and was "bonding" with his youngest nephew.

Chris was up to bat as we arrived. He ended up making an (in-field) homerun. This was him in the blue shirt, running back to home plat to score. (They ended up winning that game, 16-1.)

Chris is such a cool uncle and loves interacting with his neices & nephews whenever he's around them.

This starts photos taken on Mother's Day with my new iPad. Because it was new and I wanted to show the grandkids what it did, we took a lot of photos that day, which included letting each of them take some, too.

Tom owns and lives in the house where Chris also lives. Tom wanted to invite both families over for a nice Mother's Day dinner. This was soon after we arrived and Chris was helping in the kitchen a bit.

Gracie quickly became Rex's best friend, giving him neck massages and lots of attention.

It's not often that Jennifer and I get in the same picture, but this time we did and I really like this one.

"Uncle" Chris made dinner for his neices & nephew and got them seated in the bonus room upstairs with a movie while the grown-ups had our dinner downstairs at the elegant dining table.

Connor's current thing that he likes to do is suck on either of his parent's chins, which is what these next few photos show.

Tom really enjoys holding babies (or at least Connor) whenever he gets the chance to.

Jennifer & Jeremy hosted a combination Memorial Day/School out for Summer/Birthday (for me) celebration at their house. My neice, Ashley, and her boyfriend drove over from Ft Hood where she just got stationed. It was the first time in 10 years that anyone in my personal family (other than me) had seen her. Jennifer's best friend, Laura, also came, bringing her two sons (one was 3 weeks old) so many pictures of people holding Rhys.

Jennifer & Jeremy invited us to join them for dinner out in Austin. Chris & Tom joined in as well. Here are some photos taken that night. Chris is a VERY hands-on Uncle!

I don't know if it was the lighting in the restaurant or what, but the pictures taken inside all had a haze on them.

The next day Jennifer, Jeremy & Connor stopped by for a brief visit. Unknowingly, Connor and I were wearing matching outfits, so pictures of that HAD to be taken!

Jennifer was allowing Ryan to slide off the couch, while holding on to his leg so he could gently land on his back.

A co-worker of mine sent me a picture of a hat similar to this (made for adult men) and asked if I could make one for a 3-yr-old friend of his family's. The chin part was specifically made brown to give the impression of a beard. I used Ryan as my model to see if the size seemed appropriate (for a 3-yr-old) even though Ryan just turned 6.

Alex came home for a few days after working in Ohio for 5 weeks. Mom, Dad, all 3 siblings & 3 grandkids all met up for a nice Mexican dinner out. This son (on the phone) is the one who's been gone.
