....you are just in the wrong place, at the wrong time, although as *wrong* places go, this one wasn't too serious, at least.
We were supposed to go somewhere else, yesterday afternoon (yep, this one is way late, too....what can I say???) but on a whim,
we drove up towards Livingston mountain, instead. Just past this sign was a narrow, sharp curve and a large truck, pulling a long trailer
with a piece of machinery on it, met us. Since there was a turn-out just behind us, Lawn stopped and started to back into the turn out,
to give him more room, and a lady in a little black car had just pulled up into his blind spot, directly behind, so of course
we smacked right into her. In our big pick-up, with the drop-down trailer hitch, it didn't hurt our rig, but it sure didn't do hers any good.
She was good natured about it and luckily her car still ran ok, so insurance information was exchanged and we all went on our way
....a little wiser, lol, for the experience. We had a poker game to go to, later in the day, and I totally forgot to put my PaD up, before we left.
At least his luck was better, there, than earlier in the day, and he won the game and $100, so all in all, the day wasn't a total loss. :-)
