Moss Roses
July 10

We're getting quite a variety of colors....I don't remember verigated ones when my Grandmother grew
them....I'm really having fun seeing what color the next bunch of blooms will turn out to be!

Nikon D1x
1/400s f/11.0 at 200.0mm ISO 320 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Yep, the little succulents that are commonly called Moss Roses, not a variety of rose bush, although I really love roses and someday I'm going to grow some of the old varieties like the Moss Roses.

Your talking Portulacas right...not not the breed of rose called a Moss. Thought my eyesight was failing for a moment :>) They do look pretty

Delightful spots of color floating around through the green. What a joyful thing.

You caught the look of these so well. Such a wonderful old-fashioned flower.
