Bighorn Ram
June 5

We had the opportunity to shoot a herd of Bighorn Sheep....bachelor rams....in the Columbia River Gorge,
on our way home from Asotin, today, and it was great fun to just be able to observe them, as well.

I wouldn't want to argue with this guy. I think it's his territory and he knows it.

I'm glad you used a camera for the shooting!

Thanks, Marj....I needed a PaD idea for today and that's just what I'll do....post a shot of the 300-800mm he was using and the 500mm that I was using.

Amazing animal. Great shots (both). The light and shadow in the top image are so strong. I love seeing the eye illuminated.

LOL, yes, only with a Nikon....since he's at work I'm going to "tell" on him....no danger of him hunting with anything else, since the one time he did go hunting, with a gun, even when he had a deer in his sights, he couldn't shoot it. Needless to say, hunting for wildlife, with a camera, is the only kind he's ever done since then.

By "shoot" you do mean with a Nikon only don't you Lawn ? :>) He's quite impressive.
