Evening Doe
April 10

A group of deer were feeding up on the hillside, above the fox den, this evening and
they lingered long enough for me to fill a card. The lighting wasn't the best, but it
was enjoyable to have a chance to observe them. One doe was even curious enough to
come down to the fence and check me out. I'm not sure what she thought, but after a
while she climbed back up the hill and went back to grazing.

Ever alert aren't they. Very pretty animals.

These are great. I never realized before what big ears they had.
