A large, neutered and vaccinated female cross of about 24 months desperate for love and attention. Abandoned in Plaitistoma and desperately thin, she was fed by the only animal-friendly Greek in the village but had to be removed from there for fear of poisoning. She is food obsessive but can be touched whilst eating however she will not tolerate other dogs near her food. She is also not keen on cats or other large, female dogs. She can be petted and stroked but is very boisterous and needs firm handling and training. She will sit on command and if let free, doesn’t go too far away, especially if she hasn’t been fed. She can be walked on a lead, preferably using a head collar to prevent her pulling. Parentage unknown.
KATIE
Katie was found wandering in Periyiali. A Dutch family staying in a nearby villa fed her for the duration of their holiday but then asked LAWS to take her in as they didn't want her roaming the streets as she was such a young dog. A vet's examination determined that in fact Katie is about 2 years old! She seems to have some Beagle in her as she loves scenting out tortoises and fetching (or rather taking away!) your slippers and anything else she can get her teeth around. She is neutered and fully vaccinated.
PLATISTOMA PUPS
These 4 lovely pups (3 male/1 female) were thrown out of a car into the road near Platistoma......left to fend for themselves! They were found and were being fed by an Athenian woman visiting in the area, but she has now returned to Athens. Right now, LAWS is desperate for a foster home(s) for these puppies.
