The only downside of the lilies is that they don't last long. I get about a month of blooms out
of them every year. They were the primary reason I bought my D70 and eventually the 105 Micro.
I had bought a Sony 828, but just could not get a good close-up shot of flowers with it. I still
like and use the Sony, but the Nikon has definitely earned its place atop my camera collection.

P.S. I'm glad I took this shot when I did. I just noticed this evening that the leaves are all
gone now on this one. It's just a naked stalk.
