Sparta seems to know I'm worried about him. A kitten he was
raised with in foster care was recently put down, diagnosed
with FIP. I am concerned because while most cats get exposed
and don't come down with the mutation that causes their death,
Sparta is showing what *might* be signs. He has a little
cough and his belly is bloated with fluid. We are both sad to
think we might be in a battle we can't win, but hoping it
isn't so. His cough has been there since we got him back in
November, and his belly started weeks ago when I changed food.
Perhaps it's a coincidence.. I am watching closely and the
tummy seems to be a little smaller? luv ya Sparta.. hang in there!
