In my home, as you walk in ... prominently shown, is an alms bowl resting on a folded orange tunic. It is there to ground me on what is important in life ... a bowl to collect your physical nourishments and a piece of cloth to cover yourself ... anything else is without importance, opulence, luxury, grandeur, acquisition of material things ... it become so superficial to what is essential.
