Driving between Kilgore-Gladewater down 135 on our typical Saturday pickup, I made a point to bring my D40x with me (the "green camera" as I call it) and the recently-acquired 55-200mm VR (which I mainly bought for portraits); I didn't bring the D5000, but I wanted to at least bring this. I was expecting to use it for "kiddy pics," not anticipating seeing anything like this. So glad I had it with me (and that I had upgraded the D40 non-x to the D40x so the "green camera" would be 10mp vs 6mp). Got this shot, a "foggy shot" much like what I've been hoping to grab for sometime.
