The Rodeway Inn hotel stay being half an hour out of the way from Prescott ARK, where Bojangle's and Hardee's were located, meant we would not get the BoBerry bisuits etc without having to "double back" to get there. I noticed a diner across the way called "Southfork Restaurant" and they had good breakfast food right there, so we ate there before departing.
I had us go back to Sulphur Springs, which we'd gone to during the June "mini trip." The water levels were much lower, as I figured. After a quick stint there, we sought out waterparks or such that the kids could enjoy; it had been a point of emphasis for me to try and do something like that for them because Helen especially was expressing boredom with the amount of swimming hole visits we'd been doing. (On the way we came across some pretty scenery under a bridge called "One Lane Bridge" and I grabbed a couple of photos.) We setted on a "Family Fun Park" outside of Little Rock, where we were able to leave them for an hour while going and doing our own thing. (We visited 2 swim spots in the area, both were duds, as they were in the middle of the city, and a big one at that. We also got some BBQ at a local place which we brought back, and a quick hit at Arby's.) We didn't enjoy that part of the outing, but the kids did enjoy their time at the Family Fun Park (though I don't seem to have any photos of it).
From there we went to the Krispy Kreme/Hardee's outside of Conway ARK and then arrived at the cabin.
