We started out going to Highway 123 Waterfalls (p152)^a no photos of it are shown because there were no good ones to come out of it. Much worse, there my best camera (Sony A6000) fell in the river despite my considerable efforts to prevent this. Outraged, I nearly had us leave, but I calmed down and we stayed, from this point forward my wife's Nikon D3100 was my "good" camera (I didn't have a spare lens to use on my Sony A5000) and she would use my "everyday who gives a rip" Sony A230 (which I nearly left home). We ate Lunch at Sharon K's Cafe^b (open from 9-2 roughly) from there we went to Round Top Trail (p40)^c which was maybe 2 miles down the road on ARK 7. That hike took a lot out of us, we then went to Hasty Campground (p84)^d there I met this lovely French couple and really enjoyed talking to them. The wife was trying to ask where any waterfalls were, we let them take a photo of the Falling Water Waterfalls entry in the book, I also asked if I could photograph them and I took some shots of them riverside with the D3100 and emailed them the JPEGs. It was a really nice experience that helped me get over the loss of the Sony A6000 camera somewhat.
