The first "real day," we departed our hotel & headed for the Hardee's in Benton ARK^a for breakfast. We then stopped at the "swimmingholes.or/ar.html" spot in Benson^b as a "quick check," it didn't do much for me due to low water levels but it's possible that low rainfall was the reason & it could be a good spot on other days. My wife wanted to keep going down that more scenic way^c vs getting right back on the freeway and so we did, and came across Lake Harris^d on the way as another "quick stop." We got back on the freeway route shortly after before going to Falling Water Waterfalls^e via a different route (we didn't go to Russellville as we normally do, I believe we got off at Atkins & went down ARK 105 then 27 but it had us go down quite a bit more gravel than normal as we got closer) I also took some shots at this small spot^f prior to Falling Water Waterfalls on the way out. We then arrived in our cabin #27 and let the kids enjoy the pool. {was larry104 now "karen"}
