We went to Harrison because she wanted to go to Bull Shoals Lake, a spot I'd be into in TX but not here, but we headed on. As with 2 days ago there was freaking road construction on ARK 7 going north, so I looked for a loophole. I found one on ARK 21 to the left (Marble Falls somewhat) just prior to when it started. We went down it & although it was gravel it wasn't bad. Along the way I came across some great barn shots. She went past a fence onto private property to get some shots of the kids there, something I felt uncomfortable with, but no trouble commenced from it.

Once in Harrison ARK we ate at Hardee's for breakfast, this time I DID get steak (the Prescott location didn't have it on day 1). We bought some memory foam at Walmart, which stressed me. Along with that I saw that Bull Shoals Lake was STILL a good distance, so we tried out Magnolia Falls (p28 W) which is near the Ponca region, and went down 43 from Harrison to get there (vs returning to Jasper & going down 74).

We tried out Magnolia Falls (p28 W) but became confused down the hike and bailed out under stress (barn shots aside this was one of the more stressful days). We thus went to Whiteley Hole (p64 w), as it was nearby & one of her favorites from the past. (I was using "Maps.Me" an offline GPS program but it wasn't handling much of this region well, later on "Copilot" did handle off-signal areas well). After that we went to Ponca for awhile and then Ozark Campground (p76 SH) (almost went to Pruitt instead)--again "Maps.Me" was a headcase going to Ozark Campground (luckily Google Maps got it OK), later "Copilot" did fine with any offline areas.
