I woke up at 7 a.m. and snuck to Bradley Park and jumped in, also got a few "quick grabs" using the Sony RX100. Back at the cabin #1, I made homemade breakfast jacks using the free skillet I bought (and left for future use). We proceeded to the Indian Rock House Trail (p44H) {got a barn shot along the way, along with ROAD CONSTRUCTION!!! on ARK 7 heading north} and though we enjoyed what we saw we were EXHAUSTED coming back, it especially took a lot out of the wife.

Nearby was the Buffalo Point, a spot in the Swimming Holes book (p110-S) we'd always wanted to go to and figured we could do so now, but it was closed off due to storm damage. We thus went to the Rush spot (p112-S) and met a nice older lady who lived nearby & also had homes in FL, she was VERY chatty and that was nice, the hole itself was kind of shallow though. We then went to Big Spring (p50-S), a spot I'd seen in the book I always was curious about since it had colder water--the kids liked it, but for me it was a bust, the water was shallow. Nearby was Bull Shoals Lake which she was interested in, but tiredness was taking over so we headed back, doing so heading down roads (123 near Blue Hole?) that took us down 74 E where Hasty Campground is (don't remember EXACTLY how, but it was a huge time saver vs encountering that road construction again). Along the way, we did a few "grab shots" of rustic/rural spots along the way, and perhaps the highlight of the day--we ate at Ozark Cafe & met a waitress whose name was Adrianne, same as our son Adrian, and they were playfully teasing each other throughout the meal--it was so sweet. (Funny enough I didn't think to take a picture but Adrian asked me to and I was like "well DUH! of course I can't believe I hadn't already done that!")
