Our first "real" day (but not a "full" one). They had a half decent pool at the place I enjoyed late last night & this morning alone. She lost her card at the Dollar General (found it later) getting medication or such, I also bought some $10 Bluetooth headsets. After eating at Hardee's in Prescott ARK we checked out the Benson river spot (dry) & detoured down that route, got an old barn shot (#1). She wanted to go to "Petit Jean" (sw.org) I wasn't so keen on it because it's a spot which has waterfalls but doesn't allow swimming. Nonetheless we headed in that direction (got an "old barn" photo on the way {#2}) and "on the fly" came across a spot called Lake Sylvia which is a lake with a good jump-off platform. The kids really enjoyed that, and a guy named Austin about 14 yrs old was real friendly & showed us a secluded path where you got decent views of the place & saw a cave.

We had intended to go to Falling Water Waterfalls from there as we did last year, instead hunger pains took over & we ate at Hardee's in Russellville and headed to the cabin from there (turns out Falling Water Waterfalls is actually quite a distance from the Hardee's, for some reason I thought they were closer together than that). We then did a "quickie" at Bradley Park and the wife tried out her inflatable air mattress with that portable battery-operated air pump she'd bought, something she said she'd always wanted to do.
