Budapest: Sipeki Balas Villa

The Sipeki Balas Villa was built in 1905. Today the building serves as the headquarters for Hungarian Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted.

The Sipeki Balas Villa was designed by Ödön Lechner (1845-1914). Lechner was the most prominent of art noveau (Secession) architects of Hungary.

Good job of capturing the beauty and details of this amazing building. It's sad to see it in such disrepair..' It reminds me of some of Gaudi's architecture in Spain..
