October 2012 Challenge: Haiku

"Haiku? We can make our own haiku, or we can copy from books or internet. It is really pretty easy and many can be thought provoking. Autumn colors or Spring Blooms for our southern Pbasers, make great subject matter for Haiku. In fact, traditional Haiku required seasonal elements.

Haiku is simply sentences that are divided into 5 syllables, 7 syllables and then five. Entirely 17 syllables. Japanese Haiku is composed of 17 sound units divided into three parts and it is written on one line. English Haiku separates into 3 lines to divide the haiku. The line breaks act as a type of punctuation. "
