For the August Challenge -"It Caught My Eye".

The pollen drenched wasp caught my eye as I was looking at goldenrods for insects to photograph. Even the face is covered with it.

Do they gather pollen like bees do? Is that a pollen bundle in its mouth? But if so, there's a lot of pollen in places seemingly unintended! Excellent macro.
