Spiny oak slug moth (Euclea delphinii), #4697

Reveler Conservation Area

These beautiful little moths were common last night, and this one is very fresh. Beautiful as the moths are, their caterpillars are even more special https://pbase.com/laroseforest/image/165173327), but though the moths are common at lights, I've only seen the caterpillar once, despite hours and hours spent searching each year!
