Spring peeper (Hyla crucifer)

Larose Forest

This small frog came to investigate the insects coming to the black lights the other night in the forest. It spent quite a bit of time climbing over the sheet. This is the time of year when tiny spring peepers, young of the year, are often found on roadside/trailside vegetation.
