Silvery blue butterfly (Glaucopsyche lygdamus), male

Reveler Conservation Area

This small Lycaenid butterfly is found awhile after the Lucia Azures emerge. Unlike the latter, this one readily sits with its wings spread allowing the beautiful blue to be seen.
