Linnaeus's Spangle-wing moth (Chrysoclista linneella), #1463

Ottawa west

A non-native moth, the larvae of which feed on the European Linden tree. However, I've found it on the native linden (Basswood) tree, but whether its larvae feed on that species I don't know, but am guessing it does as there have never been any European lindens anywhere near where I've found this moth.
