Coral hairstreak butterfly larva (Satyrium titus)

Reveler Conservation Area

This odd blobby thing is actually the small caterpillar of the very beautiful coral hairstreak butterfly. It was feeding on Prunus in this photo. Inset is a shot of the butterfly it will become.
