Primrose moths and larva (Schinia florida), #11164

Reveler Conservation Area

There were two small evening primrose plants (Oenothera biennis) in a huge area that had been cleared last autumn. Five moths were gathered on the plants, 4 on this one (one further down out of the image), as well as an early instar larva, and one on an adjacent plant. You can see the colour intensity varies.
