Firefly larva (Lampyridae)

Reveler Conservation Area

There were several of these odd looking larvae on the tree in the woods at the site. Fireflies are beetles (despite their name).

First time I see a larva of the firefly. In my neighbourhood their is one place were fireflies are found.
