Possibly a leaf-footed bug egg

Reveler Conservation Area

This was relatively large, as such things go, and glinted in the sun when I turned over leaves. It could be a soon to hatch egg of the large leaf-footed bug, Acanthocephala, though I wouldn't want to swear to that.
