Polyphemus moth eggs (Antheraea polyphemus), #7757

Reveler Conservation Area

This is the second set of eggs of the huge Polyphemus moth, a member of the Giant Silkworm Moth family, Saturnidae, that I have found at Reveler. To see what the caterpillar looks like: http://www.pbase.com/laroseforest/image/157185163 And to see an early instar caterpillar and the adult moth: http://www.pbase.com/laroseforest/image/156919233
