Found on goldenrod, but the larvae of this species feeds on plants in the carrot family, including Queen Anne's Lace. This is a recently introduced species, and according to Bug Guide it was first noted in 2002, and has been spreading across the continent since. It is in the Crambidae family (Crambid snout moths).
