White admirals (Limenitis arthemis)

K&P trail, Lanark County

Driving and walking down the K&P trail between Barryvale and Flower Station I saw hundreds upon hundreds of white admiral butterflies. I have never seen so many in one location before. Clearly a good year for the species.
