Virginia ctenucha moth (Ctenucha virginica) male, #8262

Mer Bleue area

Head to head with this colourful day-flying moth. They are abundant right now, having recently emerged in good numbers. I even saw a caterpillar of the species today, perhaps a bit slow to pupate!
