Tartarian honeysuckle (Lonicera tatarica)

Reveler Conservation Area

A non-native, quite invasive shrub, but so pretty in spring when its flowers attract many insects, and later its fruit is eaten by birds. Unfortunately, it has a bad habit of pushing out native plant species and creating a monoculture of just this species.

Very pretty and I'll bet it smells sweet. Too bad it's invasive.
