Reveler Conservation Area

These ghostly looking plants of woodlands are always quite magical to find. Fortunately, they are relatively common around the region. Another name for this plant is, not surprisingly, Ghost Plant, because of its pale colour, which is due to lack of chlorophyll.

You got it! I first saw this plant when on vacation in Maine many years ago. I laid on my belly in moist leaves to try to get the shot but the mosquitos were buzzing all around my head and unfortunately, my shot was out of focus. That was in the days of film so I only took one shot. Thank goodness for digital!
