Mer Bleue Conservation Area. This is roughly the same location on the trail and time of year that I found one of these caterpillars last year. It is feeding on Galium mollugo, an introduced bedstraw. I was hoping to find one or two of these today, but it was cold and raining so wasn't hopeful. However, luck was with me. This caterpillar is about 2.5 inches long.
