Blinded sphinx caterpillar (Paonias excaecathus), #7824

Reveler Conservation Area. There were two of these caterpillars today, close together, one on willow, one on poplar. Several of us were looking for caterpillars and Diane found this beauty. Millie is correct... this guy is hanging upside down!
