Noctuid moth caterpillar

There are so many 'little green jobs' in the caterpillar world that it is difficult to identify many of them, especially when they are still growing as this one is. Many caterpillars can look like two entirely different creatures between their first couple of instars and the final one. This caterpillar had just shed its skin, that papery bit of white stuff. It is now eating it.
