Mer Bleue Conservation Area. This is one of many small caterpillars found in the heads of Queen Anne's lace, a wildflower in the carrot family. This one is a recently introduced species and perhaps it is not surprising that it is found closely associated with Queen Anne's lace, also an introduced plant, although the plant has been here for about 150 years, whereas the moths appear to have arrived only a decade ago.
