Yellow-necked caterpillar moth (Datana ministra sp.) #7902

At first I thought a dry leaf was resting on a milkweed leaf, but looking again saw it was one of the Datana moth caterpillars. At about 25mm these are good-sized moths. They are in the Notodontidae family.

It does resemble a dead leaf. I would have totally missed it. Fine, detailed capture. V.

You saw the eyes on this? You must have great eyes yourself ;-). Yet again, the detail is simply superb. V.
