Mourning cloak butterfly larva feet (Nymphalis antiopa)

About 10 days ago I took photos of a large cluster of mourning cloak butterfly caterpillars on an elm (Ulmus pumila). They were small and had orange feet and orange dots on their back. Now that they are nearly ready to pupate, they are large, with bright red feet and bright red spots on their back.
