Found today just south of the Ottawa River. This is a rare immigrant to our area, and is the first I've seen in Ottawa (but I have seen them in southern Ontario in large numbers). It is not a great photo, and although I waited, watched and followed this odonate for some time I never managed more than a couple more shots.
