Dragonflies and Damselflies (Odonata)

Odonates from around Ontario, but mostly from around the Ottawa Valley.

New images are at the beginning of the gallery for a short period of time.

A good local (Ottawa valley) source of information is "A Checklist of the Dragonflies and Damselflies of Ottawa-Gatineau (2008-update)" by Christina Lewis and Bob Bracken. Published in the OFNC publication Trail & Landscape, V.42(3): 115-131.
