Partridgeberry (Mitchella repens)

These hairy little white flowers are, I think, quite lovely, but ephemeral and if you don't get out at the right time, then you'll miss them. Partridgeberry grows in woodlands, twines along the ground, and has paired beautiful little dark green glossy leaves with a white stripe. The fruit is a tiny glistening red berry, which makes for a striking image against the green leaves, which remain green all winter long (usually under the snow in our area).
