Fingered dagger moth caterpillar (Acronicta dactylina), #9203

This large and attractive caterpillar turns into a rather nondescript greyish moth with a wingspan of about 50mm. It is in the Noctuidae family (Owlet moths), and is usually found in deciduous woodlands. This was photographed in Larose Forest in a mostly deciduous portion.
