Mason bee (Osmia lignaria)

At home

This small blue mason bee is nectaring on Scilla in my garden. As can be seen, these are one of the early emerging bees and spring bulbs such as the Scilla are a good source of nectar. Many mason bees are important as pollinators, and condominium style bee houses are often made for these bees around orchards.

this is truly an amazing sight...that periwinkle blue Scilla and that Mason bee just hugging it so. Great explanation as always.
