White-spotted Sable moth (Anania funebris) #4958a

A small moth in the Pyralidae Family. It usually perches underneath leaves and grass stems, but this one, unusually, landed on top of the leaf allowing one photo. They are very small and skittish.

Yes they are skittish! I noticed one over the lawn once and tried to track it, but it lost me. Are they also called 12-spotted Forester? Really nice shot. V
