Caterpillar feet : Virginian tiger moth caterpillar (Spilosoma virginica), #8137

The strange little feet of the Virginian tiger moth caterpillar! Caterpillar feet are intriguing, to me anyway :-) They look like little suction pads.

Those suction cup feet are very cool. I'd bet you'd have a hard time prying him off. This is a super point of view too from underneath. I agree this is not only informative but artistic. V.
