Dot-tailed Whiteface (Leucorrhinia intacta)

This small dragonfly had landed on the water in a small natural pond (part of an old quarry) at Beechwood Cemetery, and couldn't get airborne, so I scooped him out and let him dry off on the stick. He was fine. There were dozens of these whitefaces flying around, and in the pond there were thousands of toad tadpoles, and some salamander larvae.
