Jumping spider , possibly Eris militaris, female

This pretty spider is in a characteristic jumping spider pose, sitting with her head thrown back and looking straight at the interloper (me). Very cute!! This spider is approx. 4-6 mm in length.

What a pose and what a beautiful spider you took a picture of, Christine. 4-6mm is not big, but it might me an advantage as well for the spider. I like that picture very much as it points out the spider very much with the green leaf it sits on. Excellent. V

Very nice shot of this cute little jumper. There is something almost endearing about jumping spiders that I can't quite put my finger on. Could it be those big eyes??
