Tea: The first sip is joy....

I first came across the ode to tea when I was 19. I copied it out and have kept it since. For a tea fanatic like me, the words never rang truer! I believe it is from the Cha-no-yu, the Japanese Tea Ceremony, and probably from the classic "Book of tea", although I could well be wrong!

A lovely composition, and a pleasure to see a still life from your hand, bringing to our eyes the ceremonial words. Excellent and delicate understated work. V
